calicoctl node

This section describes the calicoctl node commands.

Read the calicoctl Overview for a full list of calicoctl commands.

Note that if you run calicoctl in a container, calicoctl node ... commands will not work (they need access to parts of the host filesystem).

Displaying the help text for 'calicoctl node' commands​

Run calicoctl node --help to display the following help menu for the commands.

Manage a Calico node instance. These commands run directly on the compute host
where the node is running, and cover starting the node, checking its status,
and gathering diagnostics.

Usage:
calicoctl node [command]

Available Commands:
checksystem Verify the compute host is able to run a Calico node instance
diags Gather a diagnostics bundle for a Calico node
run Run the Calico node container image
status View the current status of a Calico node

Flags:
-h, --help help for node

Global Flags:
--allow-version-mismatch Allow client and cluster versions mismatch
--context string The name of the kubeconfig context to use
-l, --log-level string Set the log level (panic, fatal, error, warn, info, debug) (default "panic")

Use "calicoctl node [command] --help" for more information about a command.
